About us:
The Logan Urgent and Specialist Care Centres include the Minor Injury and Illness Centres at Meadowbrook (LUSCC) and Eight Mile Plains (EMPSH). Both facilities are purpose-built to provide non-scheduled, episodic care to patients presenting with low-acuity injuries and illnesses that do not require management within an acute hospital or Emergency Department. Occasionally, patients may present with care needs that exceed the scope of the centres — in these cases, initial treatment and stabilisation are provided before transferring the patient to an appropriate facility, such as Logan Hospital.
