About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Advisor, Diversity and Inclusion to support older persons in our Victorian community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, developing resources, and conducting research on diversity and inclusion in aged care.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Design and deliver CCDA training workshops, webinars, conferences, and events in regional Victoria.
* Create new and maintain existing resources on the CCDA website.
* Develop content, research, and concepts for social media posts.
* Conduct interviews with leaders in the aged care sector and older persons in the community.
* Undertake research and participate in industry thought leadership on diversity and inclusion in aged care.
* Manage project planning and delivery at the CCDA.
* Write proposals and grant submissions for business development.
* Provide advisory services to aged care providers.
* Lead the Diversity Mentoring Program.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in education, training, diversity and inclusion, project management, social policy, or related fields.
* Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail in monitoring project variables.
* Knowledge of diversity and inclusion challenges, particularly as they relate to CALD communities and older persons.
* Understanding of community and Government engagement.
* Experience in learning and development practices.
* Experience working on community consultation programs.
