Your new role
As the Store Manager, you will lead the operations of the store, delivering an exceptional retail experience to both in-person and online customers. You will be responsible for driving revenue, managing a team of staff, and ensuring the store aligns with brand and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering a high-quality, customer-focused retail experience.
* Leading and motivating staff to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Managing financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Collaborating with curators, marketing, and publications teams to develop unique merchandise.
* Ensuring compliance with public sector policies, OHS, and ethical standards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven experience in retail management.
* Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
