We are seeking an experienced Mining Geologist to provide day-to-day geological services for our underground mine operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology, with tertiary qualifications and an Australian manual class driver's license. They will be proficient in underground mapping, sampling methods, geological interpretation, and basic drilling techniques.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for geology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed reports and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day underground mine geological services
* Conduct core logging, face and backs mapping, stockpile inspections, ROM inspections, stope inspections, and reconciliation of producing stopes
* Collate data for resource estimation and grade tracking
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in geology
* Australian manual class driver's license
* Proficient in underground mapping, sampling methods, geological interpretation, and basic drilling techniques
