ConsultANZ is looking for Intermediate to Senior Estimators with experience in roading and earthworks to join our client in Auckland. They specialize in infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, stormwater systems, pumping stations, and water treatment plants.
In this role, you will prepare cost estimates for major projects. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of civil engineering and experience estimating for large infrastructure projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for roading and earthworks projects.
* Contribute to competitive tender proposals.
* Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
* Work with project teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
* Obtain pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Assist with project scheduling and risk assessments.
REQUIREMENTS
* 8+ years’ estimating experience, preferably in roading and earthworks.
* Proficient in CCS Candy estimating software.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction preferred.
