The Role
The Land and Integrated Force (LIF) Division are seeking a skilled Operations Manager with robust leadership and operational abilities to guide a team dedicated to research administration and executive support. You will have a strong customer service outlook, thrive in a strategic setting, and enjoy collaborative environments. This dynamic role will allow you to work closely with your team to align their efforts with organisational objectives and contribute to the ongoing corporate and cultural transformation within DST Group.
Broadly, the responsibilities of this role will include (but are not limited to):
* Lead and manage workforce planning for the division, including ASL management, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Solve complex workforce and operational challenges, providing strategic solutions.
* Provide expert HR advice to the Chief of Division, Program Director and other key stakeholders. Support and manage complex HR cases.
* Manage recruitment activities, including mobility processes, merit lists, external recruitment ensuring compliance with internal and external recruitment policies.
* Manage, report and forecast LIF Discretionary Budget.
* Lead and manage the Operations team by providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and developing people.
* Manage the development, planning and delivery of major visits, events, travel, executive support, Divisional communication and records management.
* Oversight of building management requirements including security, WHS and maintenance requests.
* Oversight of the Reachback and Deployments team to ensure Support to Operations requirements are met, including the management of the Operations Support Facility building.
* Internal and external stakeholder engagement to develop strong collaborative relationships across teams in DSTG to facilitate seamless HR and operational support.
