English tutor - online (qld syllabus) (brisbane)

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic independent contractors to provide specialised online English tutoring aligned with the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). This flexible role gives tutors complete autonomy in choosing their students, managing their schedules, and setting workloads, ideal for those keen to support high school students (Years 7-12), especially those preparing for senior QCE assessments.

Are you passionate about teaching English? QCEprep is looking for independent contractors who can tailor their tutoring to the QCE curriculum and who enjoy full scheduling flexibility.

• Provide customised online tutoring sessions tailored specifically to the English QCE curriculum.
• Prepare personalised lesson plans combining your own resources with materials provided by QCEprep to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
• Regularly monitor student progress, provide detailed feedback, and maintain clear, ongoing communication with students and their families regarding academic progress and recommendations for improvement.

• Valid Blue Card (Queensland Working With Children Check).
• ATAR of 97 or higher, or equivalent tertiary qualifications in English, Education, or related fields.
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from relevant university programs, preferably specialising in English or Education.
• Demonstrated tutoring or teaching experience in English, especially for senior high school levels (Years 11-12).
• Robust communication skills, organisational abilities, and reliability.
