RAAFA is looking for a superstar Payroll Officer to join our established team and help us through this busy period.
As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee pay and related transactions.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end processing of company payrolls (fortnightly)
Build and maintain EBA's, Awards and legislation into Payroll functions and RAAFA's Award interpretation software, ensuring compliance.
Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with legislation and RAAFA standards.
Manage and review the preparation, balancing and reconciliation of PAYE tax.
Collaborate with the Finance Team to reconcile FBT, superannuation and payment summaries.
Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports, including ad hoc management reports.
Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries.
What you bring
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Accounting or similar is preferred and/or demonstrated experience.
Experience with payroll processing within Aged Care (desirable).
Familiarity with Chris21 and Optima is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end payroll processes of ****+ employees.
Comprehensive knowledge of National Employment Standard, Modern Awards, EBA's, Payroll Tax, WorkCover WA legislation and other relevant industry legislation.
Solid financial acumen with in-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing.
