Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical, electrical, and safety inspections
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on brakes, suspension, engines, and more
- Prepare vehicles for roadworthiness and compliance
- Perform quality control checks before handover
- Document all work completed for compliance and transparency
- Collaborate with operations and delivery teams to keep things moving smoothly
Requirements
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (essential)
- Solid mechanical experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop (2-3 years minimum)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Current Australian driver"s licence
- Willingness to undergo a police and background check
- Bonus: RWC certification, or auto-electrical experience
