We are looking for an outstanding professional who combines strong consulting, technical, and client skills to help ERM foster and expand a network of excellent client relationships by driving outcomes that create tangible value for our clients.
This role includes, but is not limited to, selling and delivering high-quality technical services, recruiting and developing our next generation of leaders, and advancing our reputation for the management and delivery of capital projects for our clients.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage an approvals and planning team to secure major project approvals for clients in the renewable (wind farms, solar, hydrogen etc), mining, infrastructure and industrial space.
Lead environmental assessment projects and related approvals management in support of ERM clients' capital project delivery.
Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.
Support the growth and development of ERM's Capital Project Delivery service area and actively collaborate with colleagues across the nation and globe.
Drive innovation within the technical community to stay ahead of client needs and differentiate ERM in the market.
Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build ERM's business.
Meet business financial targets, project budget and schedule, client satisfaction, and internal and contract requirements.
Partner with Account Directors to develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities.
Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organisations.
Develop new client relationships and expand existing ones.
Maintain pulse on industry business cycles and prioritise sales efforts to high-potential opportunities.
Manage capture efforts utilising technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, contracting.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
15+ years of environmental planning and approvals experience.
High degree of technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, due diligence, land use planning and impact assessment best practices.
Solid experience building sustaining relationships with major clients.
Authorisation to work in Australia.
In-depth understanding of project approvals challenges and existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business.
Business acumen to understand business risk and opportunities.
Track record in delivering multimillion dollar sales results annually.
