Freyssinet Australia is seeking a motivated and technically minded Site Engineer to join our Remedial Division in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands‐on experience across complex remedial projects in infrastructure and façade works.
About The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will support project delivery teams across various remedial construction sites in Newcastle. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for problem‐solving, construction, and learning in a fast‐paced, supportive environment.
You will gain exposure to structural remediation, steel repair, concrete repair, and other specialist techniques while working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of remedial projects
* Support site activities to ensure quality, safety, and schedule are maintained
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
* Assist with project reporting and documentation using systems like Workbench
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
* Engineering degree (Civil, Structural, or related)
* Strong interest in construction and remedial works
* Willingness to travel within NSW as required
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
