Overview
Operator – Rigger. BAE Systems is delighted to partner with Randstad, recruiting experienced Riggers to join our Operator team for major naval shipbuilding programs in Osborne, SA. Contingent/Casual positions with full-time hours available – Hourly base rate of $47.85.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of all services that sit within the operator trade role, including high-risk license tasks, providing services across the shipyard to successfully deliver the project.
* Support all production work on blocks, ships and related shipyard tasks.
* Daily interaction with the operator team.
* Ensure you perform only tasks you are trained and deemed competent to perform, including high-risk license tasks.
* Ensure that all equipment and areas used by the team are maintained in a safe and organized manner.
* Contribute to the team's safety and quality requirements and work to meet or exceed results.
About You
* Current High Risk Licences.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar environment.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Must be eligible to apply for Australian Defence Security clearance
