Planning Manager
Location: Adelaide Support Office (South Australia)
What you'll be doing
* Smart stock management - Balance weeks cover, stock turn and GP across 200+ stores, using daily & weekly sales reads to stay ahead of demand.
* Team leadership - effectively managing a small team of Merchandise Allocators.
* Planning & analysis - Own the Open to Buy, review ranges by store each season, and jump on size ratio tweaks before they become an issue.
* Financial guardianship - Monitor FX impacts, partner with Finance on GP targets, and prep tidy insights for auditors or ad-hoc deep dives.
* Cross functional hustle - Collaborate with Retail, DC, Branding and IT to turn strategy into product on shelf fast.
* Continuous improvement - Spot gaps, pilot new reporting tools, and champion change so we're always a step ahead of the market.
What you'll bring
* Proven retail planner with a track record in stock cover, turn & GP optimisation.
* Experience in leading a small team desirable but not essential but you have a passion for people.
* OTB wizardry and solid grasp of local & imported supply chains.
* Strong Excel, BI or other relevant reporting skills and the confidence to back decisions with numbers.
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain or similar.
* Previous experience in a planning function required.
