The Location
Heritage Lodge, a 103 bed residential aged care facility located in Murwillumbah in the Tweed Shire, 13km south of the Queensland border. Surrounded by homely comforts and beautiful gardens, we enjoy a close-knit community that feels more like a family.
The Role
Part time role available. Flexibility to work across a variety of Morning, Afternoon and Night duty shifts highly regarded.
As a Personal Care Worker, you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
* To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
* Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
* Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

* Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents
To be successful, you will have:
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual support
* Experience in aged care role
* Flexibility to cover additional leave shifts (highly desirable)
* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
* NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain)
* A caring team environment with strong clinical support
