About the role
McGuire Hotels' is seeking a dedicated Handyperson to join our team in Logan Village, QLD. As a casual Handyperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the facilities and guest experience at our hotel. Your flexible work schedule will allow you to provide assistance as needed, ensuring our hotel remains in top condition.
What you'll be doing
1. Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks
2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests
3. Inspect hotel facilities and identify potential issues before they become problems
4. Assist with the setup and tear-down of hotel events and functions
5. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
6. Mow lawns and cut hedges
What we're looking for
1. Experience in a similar handyperson or maintenance role, preferably in the hospitality industry
2. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills
5. Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry techniques
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
