Role: Change Manager
Location: Anywhere in NSW or VIC - Bega Valley based
Job Type: Contract - 3 Months- Working Holiday Visas welcome
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
Strategic Change Planning & Impact Assessment: Develop a robust set of actionable, targeted change management plans, and detailed business and change impact assessments to support structured change delivery.
Meeting Time & Budget: Play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget by maximizing employee adoption and usage.
Risk & Readiness Management (Rollout Focus): Identify, assess, and mitigate potential people and organisation based risks, ensuring specific plans are developed to address resistance, and conduct thorough change readiness assessments prior to rollout.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with the Operational Readiness Manager to develop detailed Change Impact Assessments and appropriate mitigation strategies, and partner with Training Specialists for seamless integration of learning requirements into the rollout plan.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Identify, engage, and manage key stakeholders (including Ops Leadership, Program Lead, and Sponsor) to build business engagement and proactively resolve issues and risks relating to plan rollout.
Comms & Facilitation: Develop and deliver communication plans, script regular project updates, and plan/facilitate necessary workshops to support the change rollout across workstreams.
BAU Integration: Partner with teams to ensure alignment with Business As Usual (BAU) requirements and smooth integration into ongoing activities post-rollout.
Experience
Strategic Change Leadership: Ability to partner with and influence senior leaders and business decisions, translating strategic vision into robust, actionable change plans.
Coaching & Influence: Proven expertise in coaching the business on adapting to change, building engagement, and effectively influencing stakeholders during significant periods of transformation.
Deep Methodology Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of various change management frameworks, project governance, risk management, and relevant IR/legal requirements.
Experience & Tenure: experience in Change Management roles (preferably FMCG/consumer business) and partnering with senior leaders and operational teams.
Core Competencies: Demonstrated strengths in change management, organisational design, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to integrate complex solutions.
