We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Day Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Family Day Care Coordinator/Educational Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our family day care program, ensuring the highest standards of care for children in our community. You will work closely with Nominated Supervisor, Approved Providers, families, and most importantly our educators to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
What we expect:
* Conduct home visits and regular assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality of care.
* Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to family day care educators. Liaise with families to understand their childcare needs and match them with appropriate family day care providers and reporting to the Nominated Supervisor.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, including child enrolment forms, attendance records, Programming, children's portfolio, incident reports, etc.
* Organize and facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions for family day care providers.
* Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in early childhood education.
About You to be successful in this role you must hold:
* Diploma in early childhood education. Previous experience working in a similar role within the childcare sector is preferable; however, it's not mandatory.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must have a proactive attitude, self – motivation and desire to succeed.
* Valid WWCC (Paid Blue Card)
* Current (less than 6 months) police check
* Current first aid – CPR and child protection or willing to obtain.
* Valid Australian Driver License

* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with family day care educators, and families.
* Excellent organizational and administrative abilities to manage documentation, record keeping, and reporting.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
* Demonstrated passion for providing high-quality care and support to educators, children, and families.
