About the Role

GSK's Industry Based Learning (IBL) Program is a 12‐month, full‐time internship designed for penultimate or final year undergraduate students in Finance, Accounting or a related field. The Finance Associate will work within GSK Australia and ViiV Australia's Finance Team, supporting senior partners with monthly activities and driving process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Partners with the monthly Demand Review Meeting
• Conduct Monthly Performance Reviews in conjunction with supply‐chain commercial teams
• Assist partners in preparing commentary and analysing sales performance, operating expenses and P&L performance
• Champion finance initiatives that result in process improvements
• Analyse data to assist decision‐making processes
• Collaborate with offshore finance hubs to optimise month‐end management reporting
• Work with the market‐access team to reconcile special‐pricing arrangements and claims
• Prepare financial information for business presentations

Requirements

You will be an effective communicator who can quickly build rapport, adapt to change, stay focused, and identify improvement opportunities. You will demonstrate a desire to learn, seek rationale behind processes and systems, and show drive and confidence while being a real team player who actively collaborates.

Must be able to work full‐time from January **** to January ****.

Must have valid working rights for a 12‐month period in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).
