Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, with sites at Wonthaggi, Cowes, and San Remo.

Requirements of the position are:
MANDATORY:
1. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Master of Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent
2. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3. Member of or eligibility for membership of OT Australia
4. High quality assessment and treatment skills
5. Valid Police Check
6. Working with Children Check
7. COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
8. Flu Vaccination
DESIRABLE:
9. Demonstrated clinical skills, knowledge and reasoning in assessment and intervention in an acute, rehabilitation and / or community setting
10. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
11. Experience in teaching and supervising staff and / or students
12. Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
13. An understanding of the principles of continuous quality improvement and demonstrated skills and initiative in service development, evaluation, quality activities and / or research
14. Demonstrated ability to impart knowledge to multi-disciplinary staff and to members of the community
15. Demonstrated participation in professional development
16. Established skills in organisation, planning and priority setting
17. Demonstrated computer skills
