About the Role
The Arncliffe Youth Centre is a sport, recreation, and community-focused Youth Centre for all, incorporated into a mixed-use residential and commercial complex, located at 9 Townsend Lane, Arncliffe and accessible via the Princess Highway.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the day-to-day operations of the Arncliffe Youth Centre. This support extends to the effective and efficient supervision of the physical asset (the Centre) alongside supporting the activities, programs, services, events, and people contained within.
The role will be responsible for the delivery of general day-to-day front of house operations with a strong focus on providing customer service and experience. You will be responsible for opening and closing the facility, daily operations including staff supervision, coordinating bookings, set up and pack down of spaces, operating audio-visual equipment, data entry and general administration The role will be the face of the Centre and will be the point of call for patrons, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
About You
You will be expected to be:
4. Facilitating the day-to-day operations for the Arncliffe Youth Centre.
5. Supervising the Centre patrons, contractors, volunteers, and staff.
6. Supporting the operations of Centre-based activities, programs, services, and events.
7. Implementing Centre operating procedures and policies.
8. Performing a range of general administrative and front-of-house tasks.
9. Responding to enquiries and providing timely information to patrons.
10. Delivering impeccable customer service and experience.
11. Being the first point of call for patrons of the Arncliffe Youth Centre.
Respond to incidents and perform first aid when required We are looking for someone who has:
12. Tertiary qualifications or experience relevant to the role. Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of customer service and experience.
13. Demonstrated experience in the effective supervision of a sports facility including administrative tasks, and front-of-house operations.
14. Proficiency in the use of software applications and technology in the recreation & sports industry, including audio-visual equipment, bookings systems and customer relationship management applications.
15. Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
16. Working with Children Check (NSW) and Criminal Reference Check.
17. Current Driver’s Licence Class C.
18. Experience in managing indoor sports competitions and/or refereeing indoor sports. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
19. Hours of work are between 5am-11pm Monday to Sunday and the role will include at least 1 weekend day every week.

Salary Range:
• From $66,225.17 to $74,172.26 per annum, plus 11% superannuation
