Work Location: onsite at Whelans Group Operation Centre, Bairnsdale.
Employment Type: Full Time
Commencement: As soon as possible
Renumeration Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation

Position Overview
Launch your engineering career with purpose - We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Regional Civil Construction team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of civil projects, working onsite and alongside a team of professionals who will support your growth every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be involved in:
* Assisting with planning, design, and delivery of civil construction projects
* Supporting site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance activities
* Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
* Preparing reports, documentation, and technical drawings
* Learning industry best practices and contributing fresh ideas to improve outcomes
Qualifications and Requirements
We're seeking someone who is:
* Recently graduated (or soon to graduate) with a degree in Civil Engineering
* Passionate about infrastructure, construction, and making a tangible impact
* A clear communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Eager to learn, take initiative, and grow within a supportive team
* Familiar with basic engineering software and Microsoft Office tools
* Eligible to work in Australia and willing to travel to regional project sites
