About the Role
The HR Advisor plays a central role in providing trusted, people-focused HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle by owning both the professional responsibilities and the operational execution of all HR processes.
This role ensures HR programs, policies and initiatives are not only designed but also implemented effectively and consistently across the business.
We're looking for a resourceful, logical, and growth-focused HR professional.
You will work closely with the HR Manager to drive people initiatives, ensure compliance, support employee relations, deliver HR operations, and execute HR projects end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Talent Management
Lead end-to-end recruitment, including job briefs, advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer and contract signing.
Manage candidate pipelines and provide hiring recommendations.
Own onboarding content and experience design, including probation process and follow-ups, onboarding initiatives, and maintain organisational charts.
Support early succession planning and internal mobility programs.
Employee Lifecycle, L&D & Culture
Develop and deliver onboarding programs, induction content and employee lifecycle touchpoints.
Lead the offboarding process including exit interviews, analysis and reporting.
Coordinate and deliver employee training and contributing to L&D initiatives.
Own employee experience & culture initiatives (design themes, frameworks, messaging, communication etc.).
Lead engagement survey planning, initiatives planning, execution and follow-ups.
Performance Management & Employee Relations
Drive the full performance review cycle, including planning, communication, training, reminders and system configuration.
Provide coaching to managers on performance documentation, capability issues and feedback practices.
Track probation outcomes and ensure compliance with process and timelines.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, offering sound recommendations and supporting the development, enhancement and implementation of ER policies, frameworks and processes.
Manage ER cases end-to-end (including investigations, documentation, meeting coordination and recommended actions).
HR Operations & Projects
Own HR policy maintenance and ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and company standards.
Provide trusted advice across employee relations, investigations, disciplinary matters and compliance with Fair Work, Awards and WHS frameworks.
Manage and deliver HR projects from design to execution, ensuring alignment with business needs, effective stakeholder engagement and measurable outcomes.
Manage WHS processes and provide WHS advice, including but not limited to incident logging, corrective actions, training requirements and reporting.
Own HRIS configuration, workflows, improvements, testing and process optimisation.
Develop and maintain the HR Communication page with accurate and informative content.
Produce HR reporting & insights, including KPI dashboards, trend analysis and action recommendations.
Ensure HR operational processes remain efficient, clear and auditable.
Manage HR-related vendors, ensuring service quality, contract compliance and cost-effectiveness.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or another relevant field.
3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or HR Advisor role.
Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and WHS obligations.
Ability to effectively multitask priorities, organise workload, and work autonomously.
Proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused, with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Confident working autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative, high-performing HR team.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
Excellent written, verbal, and administrative skills with attention to detail.
