The Manager, Safety and Security position is responsible for planning, delivery and continuous improvement of 'best practice' workplace safety, healthcare security, occupational violence prevention and fire safety strategies and programs for the South West Hospital & Health Service to reduce risks to staff, patients, visitors, suppliers and assets across facilities.
In collaboration with the Manager, Health, Safety and Wellbeing facilitate the integration of SWHHS's overarching physical security, occupational violence prevention and fire safety policies, procedures and compliance activities with the whole of Health Service safety management systems and governance frameworks to reduce the risk to staff, patients, visitors, suppliers and SWHHS assets.
