About This Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to provide targeted clinical intervention to young people aged 13 to 17 years of age experiencing significant mental health issues, along with their support network which may include families, schools, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted psychological and psychosocial assessment for diagnosis, interventions, and consultation in order to address the needs of consumers who are living with complex mental health problems and disorders.
* Contribute to the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assist in the development and provision of education and training programs.
* Supervise Psychologists and other disciplines working within the district, according to organisational needs and if appropriate to the psychologists' stage of professional development.
You will work with an enthusiastic team of healthcare professionals which includes nurses, psychiatric registrars, consultant psychiatrists, social worker, occupational therapists, and diversional therapists.
The Clinical Psychologist will also receive support, peer consultation, and supervision with other psychologists working in the district.
