What are we looking for?
We’re seeking a consultative safety professional to join our team in Erskine Park. As our site Safety Coordinator you’ll focus on delivering change, different ways of thinking, and making a real difference in safety practices.
This role supports DC leaders and line management with safety leadership and technical support, focusing on continually reducing workplace injuries as well as integrating practical and effective Safety initiatives to promote safe workplace behaviour.
Responsible for leading change, you’ll also be accountable for:
12. The delivery of timely, accurate, and quality assured safety performance data to business including supporting external benchmarking activities
13. Implementing policies and processes to minimise risks and to achieve compliance
14. Implementing, maintaining and improving Safety & Health programs, systems, tools, and training to support compliance
15. Monitoring and identifying actions resulting from the incident management review process
16. Leading and supporting Operational Managers with positive strategies to promote a positive and resilient SH&E culture for all stakeholders and visitors
17. Liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally in the event of an incident to share investigation outcomes, provide appropriate communication, prevent recurrence and mitigate further liability
18. Fostering the value of inclusion of SH&E considerations and controls in all management processes to champion a safety culture and a safe working environment
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone who can coach and influence key stakeholders on what good looks like across safety. You’ll also demonstrate;
19. Formal qualifications in a related OH&S area
20. Exposure to a DC / Supply Chain environment, within a safety capacity, desirable
21. Strong experience working in a hands on role
22. Strong project and/or change management skills
23. Comfort with working autonomously and independently
24. Being consultative and creative in your approach to thinking about safety
25. Excellent communication and relationship management skills
26. A passion to learn, develop and grow
27. Advanced investigation training, desirable
