The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Supervisor to join our growing Adelaide and Property Gardens (APG) team based in Pooraka! Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will oversee multiple grounds maintenance contracts, leading a team to meet schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements while providing mentoring and support to help our employees achieve their NDIS goals.
This full-time position operates Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4:00pm & Friday 7.30am to 2.00pm, across various sites, with APG's main location based in Pooraka, Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support a team delivering multiple ground maintenance contracts to meet schedules, quality standards, and client expectations
* Ensure contract requirements are met, including on-site customer liaison and service delivery outcomes
* Provide mentoring, training, and support to employees to help achieve their NDIS goals
* Prepare reports, contribute to audits, and identify opportunities for site improvements
* Work across multiple locations with flexibility, including participation in an on-call weekend roster as required
About You – The Ideal Candidate:
* Demonstrated experience leading teams, ideally in horticulture or grounds maintenance
* Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills
* Empathetic approach with experience supporting diverse teams, including people with disability
* Relevant qualifications (Horticulture, First Aid) and practical skills (e.g., irrigation, MS Office, quality systems)
* Current driver's licence and desirable tickets (chainsaw competency, Work Zone traffic management, ChemCert)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
