Surveyor – Mackay
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Cadastral Surveyor, or an experienced Senior Surveyor looking to focus on cadastral work, to join our Mackay based team. We are particularly keen to hear from surveyors with Cadastral Endorsement or those actively working towards it.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advice, management and instruction on a range of surveying projects
Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the infrastructure and development sectors
Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing and manage the total project including client liaison, internal communication and support with budgets and accounts
Provide operational support to Team Leaders and the Survey Manager including resource planning and mentoring junior staff
Adhere to company work, health and safety policies
About You
Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor or Graduate working towards Surveyor registration. Current Surveyor registration or higher will be highly regarded
A minimum of 5 years' surveying experience across varied projects
Proven ability to manage projects, with experience in client management, leadership and staff mentoring highly regarded
Strong time management and organisational skills
Proficiency with surveying equipment and software. Experience with Trimble instruments and 12D would be highly regarded
Ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones
Strong technical and communication skills
QLD manual driver's licence
Applicants must be based in Australia or New Zealand with citizenship, PR or a visa allowing ongoing work
