Practice Manager – Wealth Management

Reporting directly to the CEO, Private Wealth Division
Capital Haus Group & Baker Young are seeking an experienced
Practice Manager
to lead the day-to-day operations of its private wealth practice based in Adelaide.
This is a senior, hands-on role accountable for how the practice operates — supporting advisers, client services, systems, and operational standards — while working closely with the CEO of the Private Wealth Division.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, embedding strong processes, and creating an environment where advisers and teams can perform at their best.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will be accountable for the operational management of the practice, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and consistently as the business grows.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading day-to-day practice operations and workflows
* Supporting advisers and client services teams across the advice lifecycle
* Owning CRM, workflow, and practice systems (XPLAN experience preferred)
* Embedding compliant processes and maintaining audit-ready client records
* Training and onboarding new and existing staff
* Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, and service delivery
* Coordinating office operations, suppliers, and domestic travel as required
This role is predominantly
office-based in Adelaide
, reflecting its leadership, training, and operational nature.
About You
You are an experienced
Practice Manager, Operations Manager, or senior practice operations professional
from within wealth management or financial services.
You bring:
* Experience operating in a regulated (AFSL) environment (preferred)
* Strong understanding of adviser support and client service operations
* Exposure to
domestic and international equities
(highly desirable)
* Confidence driving systems adoption, training, and process discipline
* A practical, accountable approach to running a professional practice
Extensive experience with
XPLAN
is preferred but not essential; experience with comparable financial advice CRM or practice management systems will be highly regarded.
