RUD Chains Pty Ltd is looking for a motivated Trades Assistant / Industrial Painter to join our energetic Production Department. Whether you're an experienced Trade Assistant with some industrial painting exposure or someone keen to grow your skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Training and skill development are provided!
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm + ad hoc overtime
Location: Head Office – Larapinta, QLD

About the Role
As part of our skilled Production team, you'll work on the final finishing stages of our products, ensuring they leave our facility to the highest standard. This is a hands‐on role offering great variety, supportive teammates, and a positive, high‐energy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with industrial painting of small and large metal components
* Perform surface preparation, priming, and finishing tasks
* Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely
* Maintain safe storage of paints and solvents (MSDS knowledge required)
* Contribute to a clean, efficient, and safety-focused work area
What We're Looking For
* Some experience in industrial painting within a metal fabrication or production setting
* Basic knowledge of surface prep and priming
* Pride in your work, strong attention to detail, and a great attitude
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* Desirable (not essential):
o Forklift High-Risk Licence
o Experience with electrostatic paint equipment and application
* Must have full Australian working rights
