Our client is a busy, fast‑paced operation in the logistics and aviation sector, and they are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join their tight‑knit team. While aviation experience is a plus, it’s not essential – if you’ve worked in a logistics or transport environment before and thrive under pressure, we’d love to hear from you.
This unique role offers flexibility and variety, ideal for someone who enjoys a broad range of responsibilities and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. For the right candidate, the client is happy to accommodate school hours to support family responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- General administrative duties and preparing paperwork for customer requirements
- Distributing safety notices to pilots and tracking acknowledgements
- Managing office supplies including stationery, tea, coffee, etc.
- Driving into town to collect mail (a company vehicle will be provided)
- Keeping the office and hangar clean and organised
- Supporting the team with other ad‑hoc tasks as required
Full on‑the‑job training will be provided, so you’ll be set up for success from day one.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or aviation environment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Robust organisational and time‑management skills
- Able to remain calm and focused in high‑pressure situations
- A full driver’s licence
- Comfortable with hands‑on tasks and general upkeep of the workplace
