At Chubb, we're on the lookout for a talented Underwriting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This exciting role will see you working closely with the Branch Underwriting team to deliver top-notch client service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Corresponding with brokers on pricing and coverage
• Assisting with accounting and policy queries
• Collaborating with Underwriters to prepare quotes for new business and renewal submissions
• Ensuring timely issuance of policy documentation to brokers
• Supporting team members with workload management, training, and coaching
• Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
In order to succeed in this role, you'll need:
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in insurance (Underwriting experience is desirable)
• Excellent computer literacy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Experience supporting work allocation and meeting tight deadlines/SLAs
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues within a team environment
• Well-developed analytical and organizational skills
