Your Team:
Financial Crime Services (FCS) Risk Advisory is a first line of defence function that provides comprehensive and integrated risk services in support of the COO. The value proposition of the team is to provide skilled, practical and efficient risk management to support FCS in the delivery of excellent business and customer outcomes.

To proactively and effectively manage operational risks through providing insights and judgements on the risk and control environment across Regulatory and Control Operations and Program of Action
Your role will be key in assisting management with sound and rational risk advice and decision making. Effective management of risk is a key enabler and foundational component of the Group.
Day to day responsibilities:
* Provide operational and compliance risk advice over FCS strategic initiatives.
* Draft papers for the FCS & FCC Risk Forums, Group Operations Non-Financial Risk Committee, Regulatory and Control Operations Committee and Enterprise Services Non-Financial Risk Committee.
* Contribute to the uplift and maintenance of capability across COO more broadly, including Risk Culture i.e. planning, coaching, remediating and uplifting risk management service excellence.
* Facilitate CMRS assessments for projects and business change initiatives which result in a delivered risk impact to the control environment.
* Provide support to major program of work from CMRS and ensure the desired outcome is achieved.
* Manage root cause analysis of Issues and Incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements
* Coach and mentor team members and peers enabling them to develop their CBA and risk knowledge and become effective risk professionals.
* Maintaining and assisting with RiskInsite (RiS) Item management, issues, incidents, controls.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
* Financial Crime experience on policy impact assessment, reporting and conducting risk assessments preferable
* Financial Crime experience in AML/CTF and Applicable Customer Identification processes, Customer Due Diligence, Ongoing Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (including managing and advising on High Risk) Customers preferable
* Financial Crime experience in Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions and other Customer Screening requirements preferable
* Knowledge on Data Management and Data Controls (for highly protected and financial crime sensitive data).
* Strong CMRS experience preferable.
* Sound people leadership skills, including expectation setting, coaching, and performance management
* 6+ years' experience in Financial Crime or Regulatory Compliance in banking/financial services/other relevant experience, and/or minimum 6+ years' experience in Operational Risk management roles
