Bus Maintenance Role
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of buses to ensure a safe and reliable service for our community.
This role involves conducting daily safety checks, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs as well as preventative maintenance.
About This Role:
* Maintain our bus fleet ensuring a safe and reliable service
* Conduct daily safety checks and troubleshoot issues
* Diagnose and repair faults in addition to preventative maintenance
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Recognised Mechanic Trade Certificate or TAFE Cert III Heavy Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
* Current HR or C Class drivers license (or ability to obtain)
* Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Computer literacy for accurate maintenance record-keeping
