 
        
        Delivering high quality, welcoming servicesacross multiple channels both on and offsitethat promote State Library'scollections and support the needs of a diverse range of clients 
- Managing and developing a high performingLibraryand Client Services teamin the delivery of innovative and responsive information, reference, research and referral servicesto a diverse client group. This includesplanning and overseeing the day to day workflows of the team and delivering onkey service objectives and organisational priorities 
- Managing, implementing and maintaining standards and processes for the delivery of StateLibraryreference and research enquiry service that extends statewide through multiple channels.This includes responsibility for annual reporting on the Information Services outcomes, internally and at a national level 
- Reviewing, evaluating and reportingon current services to ensure that they meet State Library'sservice delivery targets. This includes measuring client satisfaction levels, attendancequotas, quality standards andoperational objectives 
- Researching current trends and consulting with key stakeholders across State Libraryas well as public libraries, industry, government and the private sector. This includes examining current and emerging standards on research information and referral services, in a rapidly changing technological environment 
- Representing State Libraryon both internal and external user groups, committees, programs and working groups. This includes collaborating with communities of practice, industry bodies and government in order to enhance the delivery of efficient and effective information service 
- Undertakingbusiness improvement activities including the development, management and maintenance of relevant policies and procedures ensuring they meet best practice and State Libraryrequirements 
- Working effectively with colleagues and peers while contributing to a productive and positive work environment in times of change and uncertainty. This includes being a proactive member of Visitor and Information Services leadership teamand an active participant in Content & Client Services Portfolio planning and initiatives.
**Manadatory requirements**: Possession of a degree and eligibility for qualified membership (Associateship of the Australian Library and Information Association)
