Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring freshness and quality.Assist in menu planning and preparation of food items in accordance with established recipes.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.Participate in food inventory management, including stocking and ordering supplies as needed.Contribute to a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence.Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance skills and menu offerings.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level positions.Strong passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Willingness to take direction and be open to feedback from senior kitchen staff.For more senior roles, previous experience in a similar role and a culinary qualification is advantageous.
