Due to continued growth, we have a newly created position for a Self Insurance Consultant to join our fun and supportive Self Insurance team.
Working closely with the Self Insurance Leader you will deliver a variety of services related to end-to-end workers compensation claims management for a broad range of clients.
This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic workers compensation claims management professional to further develop and broaden their experience within the self-insurance space.
This role is based in Adelaide and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
We will count on you to:
Deliver end to end workers compensation claims management services for a variety of valued clients.
Implement early intervention strategies and engage with return-to-work services to support injured workers.
Participate in medical case conferences with general practitioners and specialists, as necessary, collaborating to develop effective treatment plans.
Complete permanent impairment assessment referrals.
Manage noise induced hearing loss claims.
Perform all duties in accordance with the Return-to-Work Act ****, Regulations, and the Code of Conduct for Self-Insurers.
What you need to have:
Experience in delivering end-to-end workers' compensation claims management services.
Experience working within the RTWSA scheme.
Previous experience in self-insurance will be well regarded.
Experience preparing for and attending Tribunal matters would also be well regarded.
Skills in building relationships, allowing you to establish trust and rapport with injured workers, colleagues and clients.
Willingness to travel to metropolitan and regional locations as required.
