The Role

Within the Service Delivery Division, the Strategic Business Services Branch is responsible for providing strategic and project support to the Executive Director and other senior officers within the Division. In particular, the Branch manages the cashiering services for the Group; undertakes business improvement projects; develops operational policies; and manages operational projects within the Division.

As the General Manager Strategic Business Services you will drive strategic initiatives, business improvement, operational policy and key reform projects across a diverse and high‐impact portfolio. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, support senior executives, and play a central role in strengthening systems, processes and digital service delivery for a large and complex division.

Success in this role comes from strong strategic leadership, the ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders. You will need solid experience in business systems and operational support, along with a good understanding of regulatory and licensing environments. The capacity to drive business improvement, lead digital and operational reform, and deliver practical solutions is essential. Coaching, mentoring and developing your team will also be key to achieving high performance and positive outcomes.

Demonstrated high level strategic management skills and experience, including an ability to lead and develop staff within a positive team environment.

Demonstrated experience in business systems management, cashiering services and knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks and licensing systems.

You think critically and strategically to solve problems and enhance effectiveness.
