Document Management Tasmania is seeking an experienced Print Estimator to join our growing team in Hobart. If you have a strong background in the print industry and enjoy working with numbers, scheduling, and client requirements, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a respected Tasmanian business.
About the Role
In this part-time role, you will:
* Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for digital, offset and large-format print jobs
* Review artwork, specifications and production requirements to determine costings
* Liaise with clients to clarify details and provide pricing updates
* Work closely with production staff to ensure quotes align with workflow capacity
* Maintain accurate data in estimating systems and support job planning
* Assist with occasional customer service and administrative tasks when required
What We're Looking For
* Previous print industry experience is essential, ideally in an estimating or production role
* Strong understanding of print processes, substrates, finishing and turnaround times
* High accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist clients professionally
* Ability to work independently and manage workflow within flexible part-time hours
* Familiarity with print estimating software (advantage but not essential)
