We have big plans at Cable and we’re on the hunt for an experienced, creative and passionate Visual Merchandise Design & Operations expert to join our team!
Reporting to the General Manager – Womenswear, you will develop and create the VM direction and creative execution across Cable retail stores and concessions, ensuring all outputs are in line with the brand strategies.
Based in our Support Office in Malvern, this role is part time, 3 days per week, working Monday (and 2 other days).

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Setting the Visual Merchandising direction that supports the product range, key trends, and creative brand direction
* Develop creative window concepts that align with the Marketing and Product seasonal direction
* Develop and produce all creative and promotional print material
* Communicate the Visual Merchandising direction and window installations to the retail team via VM Briefs and documentation
* Lead Visual Merchandising direction for new store openings and provides training of new store teams
* Train and develop both VM and retail team members on VM standards and expectations
* Ensure key promotions and internal direction are executed to optimize sales
* Develop floor plans and product flow to drive commercial results
* Elevate flagship stores and identify future visual enhancements
* Conduct regular store visits to ensure directives are implemented and standards achieved according to company standards
* Source props and work with external suppliers to bring the window concept together
* Work within the agreed budget and ensure all collateral arrives in a timely manner to install to agreed Marketing dates
* Work with external suppliers for print and delivery, ensuring material arrives on time and is within budget
* Responsible for communicating all VM direction to the wider VM and retail teams, ensuring all comms are clear and delivered on time
* Provide continuous feedback to VM and retail teams to ensure the store execution is to the highest standard
* Support the Brand with seasonal conferences, including coordination and presentations
What are we looking for?
* Experience in similar role in the retail industry
* Relevant tertiary qualifications – desirable however not essential
* The ability to travel to various store locations throughout Australia as required
* Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel and Microsoft office
* A keen eye for detail and an analytical approach
* Strong commercial and retail acumen
* A genuine love and understanding of our brand
* Strong communication skills and high level of people and relationship management skills
* Effective time management - an ability to prioritise to achieve results
* Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
* A desire for continuous improvement
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude
* Hold a current driver’s License and vehicle
