HR/Payroll Change Analyst Contract with Local Gov

Our client is a local government department looking for a Change Analyst to support the Human Resources & Payroll Business Readiness Lead in delivering the change management strategy for the SAP SuccessFactors and Payroll implementations within the Modern ERP Program. This is a 16 month contract with possible extensions.
Your new role
* Support the HR and Payroll Project Managers and Provide People Services Business Readiness Lead in implementing the HR / Payroll change management strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with ERP transformation goals.
* Assist in conducting change impact assessments, identifying workforce, role, and process changes, and supporting targeted interventions.
* Coordinate and track stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring that HR leaders, employees, and key business units are informed and supported.
* Support the development and delivery of training programs, including coordination of training materials, scheduling, and tracking completion rates.
* Assist in the execution of business readiness assessments, ensuring impacted teams are prepared for go-live and post-implementation support.
* Develop and maintain communication materials, including FAQs, presentations, intranet updates, and emails to ensure consistent messaging.
* Track and manage change adoption metrics, gathering feedback, monitoring engagement, and identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Business Readiness teams to ensure that change activities align with business operations.
What you'll need to succeed
* 5+ years of experience in change management, HR transformation, or business process change within large-scale projects.
* Familiarity with Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's Change Model, or similar methodologies.
* Experience supporting HR and/or Payroll system implementations, preferably in SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, or SAP S/4HANA HR/Payroll environments.
* Strong understanding of change management principles, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness strategies.
* Experience assisting in stakeholder communications, training coordination, and resistance management.
