Medical Receptionist Opportunity
A highly organized and efficient medical receptionist is required to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.
* Patient Management:
o Manage patient interactions, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, maintain customer accounts, and provide general information
* Maintenance of the Best Practice Patient Database:
o Ensure accurate and timely updates to patient records
* Payment Processing:
o Process and receipt payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover, and Medicare billing systems
* Facility Maintenance:
o Contribute to the upkeep of the reception area and doctors' consulting rooms
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist
* Experience with Best Practice software is preferred
* Familiarity with payment processing systems is essential
* Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
* Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining a high level of service delivery
