We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This position will be for the Night Shift, working from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday to Thursday. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a 30% shift loading and opportunities for occasional overtime.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will provide electrical support throughout the site by responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include eliminating defects and ensuring equipment reliability while maintaining our quality, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and systems for emergency repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and enhance productivity by effectively resolving electrical faults.
- Coach peers and operations team members on equipment use and maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with engineering and food safety standards
- Contribute to site initiatives, including Continuous Improvement and a Safety-First Culture
About You
- Fully licensed electrician with experience in a manufacturing environment
- Skilled in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Proficient in PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens, SCADA)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&IDs;
