Based in our Albury office and internally known as Regional Coordinator, you will support advocacy, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of high-quality events and programs across the Murray Riverina region. Working closely with the Regional Director, this role is at the heart of connecting business, government and community to drive positive regional outcomes.
About the role
In this hands-on, varied role you will:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders including government, chambers of commerce, media and member businesses
* Coordinate and deliver thought leadership events, workshops, roundtables and regional business awards
* Support strategic member and partnership account management, including coordination and administration
* Manage the day-to-day operation and promotion of the Regional Business Centre
* Deliver Regional Advisory Council and Local Chamber meetings, including agendas, minutes and follow‑up actions
* Manage event budgets and support delivery of key regional programs and projects
* Use CRM and business systems to manage data, communications and reporting
* Provide general office and administrative support while contributing to a collaborative regional team
About you
You're an organised, proactive professional who enjoys juggling multiple priorities and working with a wide range of people. You bring:
* Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience
* Strong event coordination and production skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* A service‑oriented, positive and self‑motivated approach
* Confidence working autonomously while contributing to a small, close‑knit team
* An understanding of the local business and industry environment
What you'll need
* Experience in stakeholder management and event delivery
* Strong administration and budget coordination capability
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Current driver's licence
* Tertiary qualifications in events, business or marketing (highly desirable)
