Warehouse & Logistics Manager
As a Warehouse & Logistics Manager at Fresh To Go Foods, you'll be an integral part of our team, dedicated to crafting high‐quality, ready‐made wraps and sandwiches. This is a Full‐time position that offers a stable and friendly work environment. You will be joining a team that values precision, speed, and quality in food production. Our team is passionate about exceeding the standards of convenience food, ensuring every hand‐made meal is created to perfection.
The role is from Monday to Friday. Your start time will be around 6am (negotiable). This role is full time working 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
* Ensure equipment, racking, and storage systems are maintained and compliant.
* Prepare weekly and annual leave rosters for ensuring resources are available at all times.
* Ensure all deliveries are being routed in the most efficient order and on time.
* Coordinate after hours support for delivery vehicles.
* Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and stocktakes.
* Optimise storage layouts and stock rotation to support efficient operations.
* Work with procurement/replenishment and operations teams to forecast stock requirements.
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
* Proven ability to lead and coach team members.
* Experience with multi‐drop fleet management an advantage.
* The ability to provide clear orders and instructions to team members.
* Knowledge of Human Resource policies and practices.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of hygiene, and food safety procedures as well as HACCP principles and procedures an advantage.
* Knowledge of quality assurance systems and continuous improvement principles.
* Competent computer skills; ERP system NetSuite and Excel an advantage.
* Develop continuous improvement projects, and see them through to completion.
