THE ROLE.

We are seeking a full‐time, energetic and results driven Broking Assistant to provide long term support in our commercial broking team.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

* Support the team in managing their portfolio of clients' insurance, risk management and programs
* Prepare client documentation and invoices. (for example, renewal questionnaires, new business and renewal quotes, and client manuals)
* Assist with the lodgement of claims.
* Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients via phone and email
* Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
* Undertake professional development (achieve and maintain compliance with the relevant legislative requirements)

This position is NOT suitable for candidates wishing to work from home.

Successful applicants will have:

* A strong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively or autonomously as necessary.
* Strong organisational skills including attention to detail, the ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and ability to critically think.
* Demonstrated experience within office environment and the ability to comply with Bruce Insurance's core values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity and Professionalism.
* Sound oral and written communication skills, confidence, with initiative to take on additional duties when required
* Experience using Insight, Insurer systems & Office 365 is essential.
