The Role
Orora is expanding the capacity of its cans business, investing millions to increase capacity at our Queensland site through introducing a new manufacturing line. This is where you come in.
Reporting into the shift supervisor and working a 12hr rotating shift 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
1. Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
2. Operating high speed machinery including:
3. 4. performing changeovers
5. 6. troubleshooting
7. 8. machine adjustments
9. 10. maintenance tasks
11. Assist in machinery changeovers.
12. Reading & following SOP's
13. Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance.
14. Be a proactive and enthusiastic team member.
All About You
15. Strong communication skills & a team player
16. Basic computer skills
17. Good mechanical aptitude
18. Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns.
19. Manufacturing or printing experience is advantageous.
20. Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
