Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for effectively managing, promoting, and growing the sales of specific products and services within nominated customer segments in the QLD/PNG region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactively building and maintaining effective business relationships with nominated customer segments operating within the region.
* Providing high-level customer contact via face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails, videos, and digital media.
* Working closely with the Sales Support, Customer Care, and MANZAT teams to provide quotations for products and follow up on quotations and win orders.
* Generating new opportunities through customer dialog and demand creation activities such as presentations, integrated marketing, industry events, and social media engagement.
* Conducting analysis and research to gain a full understanding of the customer base and staying abreast of market changes, competitors, technology, and industry developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in an engineering-related discipline.
* Proven sales experience in the process control industry, preferably in field or inside sales.
* Experience and understanding of sales budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Proficiency in interfacing with business systems such as CRM, Office, Oracle, and other software tools.
* Strong technical knowledge of the business and key drivers.
