At Coates Karratha Portables, our Branch Manager plays a highly valued and critical role – leading a team of customer and service professionals to safely deliver exceptional site facility solutions to our customers.
Specialising in portable buildings and site facilities, including crib rooms, offices, site buildings, toilet blocks, and waste tanks – the Branch Manager oversees end-to-end branch operations, ensuring safety, service quality, and efficiency across delivery, installation, and maintenance activities.
You’ll take full accountability for branch performance, focusing on safety, operational excellence, and achieving key metrics around revenue, fleet utilisation, and customer loyalty.
Your ability to motivate, mentor, and develop your team, while maintaining solid contractor relationships and scheduling capability, will be key to success. You’ll be passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and fostering a positive, high‑performing team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Champion safety for your team, customers, and contractors at all times.
- Lead, guide, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with customers to create the best solutions for their site facility needs – preparing quotes, raising purchase orders, and entering hire agreements.
- Oversee asset management and scheduling of portable assets, ensuring timely delivery, servicing, and collection.
- Manage branch P&L; and performance across key metrics including fleet availability, utilisation, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and manage contractors to ensure all site facility services (e.g. cleaning, waste management, maintenance) are completed safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Proven sales and operational management experience within a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
- Strong background in contractor management including coordination of transport providers and service partners to meet operational deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and prioritise multiple moving parts.
- Experienced team leader capable of developing a cohesive “One Team” culture focused on collaboration and accountability.
- A solid track record of achieving customer service KPIs.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the business and with external contractors.
- High level of computer literacy – experience using scheduling systems, customer databases and the Microsoft Office Suite.
