Working as part of a large team, the Technical Writer is a seasoned subject matter expert.
This role is to be part of a large infrastructure project that spans networking, managed network operations tools, endpoint security and infrastructure applications.
You will work closely with senior engineers and subject matter experts to effectively and efficiently draw out the relevant technical information in order to create or modify detailed and concise low-evel design (LLD) documents; technical design documents and work instructions
Working at NTT Data
* Creates clear and concise material, taking care of editing and proofreading tasks.
* Creates low level design and work instruction documents in line with the detailed design and build management guide and work instruction process
* Revises or rewrites existing technical documentation.
* Conducts research and gathers information and study target audiences.
* Tests whether users understand newly developed material.
* Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the subject is understood.
* Works closely with printers, illustrators, graphic designers, translators and other relevant professionals.
* Compiles information by order of usability.
* Performs any other related task as required.
What will make you a good fit for the role?
* Highly developed analytical skills to enable information to be extracted from engineers
* Experience in creating LLD documents for IT networks
* Seasoned ability to conduct proper subject matter research to enable the writing of relevant material.
* Ability to do effective plan out any development requirements.
* Excellent communication skills to be able to transfer knowledge without resorting to complex language.
* Ability to apply critical thinking to sift through relevant vs irrelevant information.
* Seasoned knowledge of writing software tools.
* Seasoned ability to do efficient proof reading.
* Ability to interact with all stakeholders – technical and non-technical.
* Preference for previous experience in regulated environment
* Experience with relevant tools eg. Sharepoint; Visio; Word; Excel; PowerPoint
