The Role
As an Enrolled Nurse (EN) at Respect, you will be responsible for delivering safe, competent clinical care while adhering to the standards set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the health and wellbeing of our residents.
Flexibility across all shifts is essential, as we provide 24/7 care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in resident admissions and ongoing assessments to identify care needs by compiling comprehensive histories from residents and/or families.
- Maintain accurate documentation that reflects care delivery and clinical decisions.
- Assist in implementing, contributing to, and evaluating resident care plans as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications and ensure accurate ordering, storage, and documentation in accordance with Respect’s policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent).
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 1 year of post-graduate nursing experience in aged care.
- Unrestricted working rights.
- Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Solid clinical and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of aged care accreditation processes.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
